Rigel Kilston is the founder of Splash Studios. An award winning editor and director, he has been one of Amsterdam’s most prolific filmmakers for over a decade. Originally from Korea Town Los Angeles, Rigel has lived and worked as a senior editor and head of post in LA. NY. SF and Amsterdam creating films in the fields of commercial, fashion, documentary, shorts and music video. His work has amassed hundreds of millions of views, helping to launch artists from all over the world. WORK
HIro Ikematsu is a director/editor with over 15 years of experience in film production & advertising. melding cinematic imagery with a critical ear for sound design and music. Sound is integral to his work, and his rhythmic approach to editing is informed by his passion for music and his double life as a part-time DJ. With an emphasis on connecting with human emotions, he thrives on documenting slices of life and delving into human narratives that resonate deeply, leaving a lasting impact on the viewer. WORK
Samantha Groesbeek (definitely call her Sam) is an editor based in Amsterdam. Sam has a strong passion for narrative editing and storytelling but also likes to go off the beaten path with snappy edits and splashy cuts. Having worked with skilled directors, global agencies and production companies Sam is ready to tackle the full spectrum of editorial needs alongside her doggo ‘Flip’. WORK
Oscar Marmelstein is the new partner in charge of Splash Studios Amsterdam. He jumped into the waters at splash after a 12 year career as head of edit at Ambassadors where he developed his skills as director and awarded senior editor. His deep understanding of post / edit craft along with his friendly native Dutch demeanor make him the perfect accomplice to run our Amsterdam. Oscar has been a Jury for Shots, the Clios and Berlin Commercial. WORK
Brian Ent is one of Amsterdams top editors with 20 years of experience working with commercial, music video, television series and feature film editing. Brian has a truly inspiring body of work and an equally impressive knowledge of fine wines. His company Kapsalon provides top-notch editing facilities in central Amsterdam. WORK
Geerten Harmens was the first intern at Splash Studios and as time has proved the student has become the teacher. Having directed music videos for the likes of A$AP Rocky and global campaigns his directing and edit skills are phenomenal. Geerten is a young wizard with masterful skills in editing storytelling and visual effects. WORK
Maja Silver is a versatile visual artist; director, cinematographer, photographer, and editor. Her passion for film ignited during her youth, inspired by MTV music videos. With a bachelor's in film production, she strives for seamless, flowing edits. Silver's portfolio includes brands such as Patta, Adidas, and Marshall, with her work having been shared on Hypebeast. Additionally, she co-founded and owns NAJAH media company. WORK
Arthur Ivens is an editor based in Amsterdam. He works with directors, agencies, brands, artists and (post) production companies cutting and creating videos in the fields of commercials, fashion, art, television, documentaries and music videos. WORK
Kevin Camphuis is an editor and director with a passion for aesthetics, music, and hip-hop culture. As a self-taught editor, Kevin has worked with a variety of talented directors, agencies and brands across the globe. His experience includes commercials, music video’s, fashion campaigns and so on. His flashy rhythmic style and story-driven approach are notorious and full of flavour. WORK
Steve Chan is a former writer turned video editor, so definitely values good story-telling and thinks it’s super important. Based in Amsterdam with 22 years of experience, he’s edited a lot of different content, for lots of different clients, in lots of different teams. Truth is, he just really loves the craft. Julian Eguiguren is a film editor with years of expertise cutting national and international advertising campaigns, branded content, music videos, short films and documentaries. Having lived in three countries, he brings a creative global perspective to his projects, and a keen eye for detail, elegance and impact. WORK
Johannes de Jong is an editor based in Amsterdam. Working with directors and agencies on a daily basis he has tons of experience cutting tv-commercials, music video’s, shorts, sport and fashion. Small warning: working together with Johannes also means you have to play with his dog, Jochem. WORK
Chris Hicks is an editor & colorist. Originally from London, he found his way to Amsterdam, working on commercials, editorials and documentaries. Nowadays, Chris works between Bristol and Amsterdam, wherever the work takes him. His background as a musician informs his style, applying a dynamic and rhythmic flair to his cuts. WORK
Lyon Pol is an emerging filmmaker from the Netherlands and was one of Rigel’s early assistants. Lyon began making youtube films at a young age before going on to make commercial work under the wing of Splash Studios. His aesthetic borrows heavily from what he’s learned at Splash and his focus is on making Dutch music videos. WORK
David Schagerström is a Swedish motion designer and director based in Amsterdam. He co-runs a motion collective studio, called Meanwhile, that houses freelance animators and designers. WORK
Fotis Kolokas - also known as "Foti" - is a video editing wizard by day and avant-garde beatmaker by night. He combines his feel for rhythm with an aesthetic twist that is fresh and manages to tell a story. After being raised in Corfu until the age of 18, Fotis came to the Netherlands to study Audiovisual Arts. Here he specialised in creating content with a young, uniquely modern style - suitable for innovative brands or music videos. WORK
Rebecca Weltner is a director and editor on a mission to create loopholes into other realms creating stories that surpass the rules of reality. Originally from Berlin, now an Amsterdammer by choice, she has worked on multiple music videos, short films and creative shorts giving her a deep understanding of the art of editing and how to push boundaries. Lamine Kallo is an editor and director from the Netherlands where he is currently working towards a degree in Creative Business from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. Though he is early in his career, Kallo has already amassed a client roster including Nike Airmax, Adidas, Adobe, and Wish. His work is characterized by his affinity for hip hop and contemporary culture.
Bowie Pladet is our junior editor and Grafish Lyceum Rotterdam graduate. He received his degree in video design. He is a talented young editor with plans to break into the world of music videos and feature films.

Peach Rizzo is originally from San Francisco though she moved to Amsterdam in 2017. She has since been working as a freelance writer and producer in commercial, documentary, and narrative films. She has collaborated on award winning projects, most notably with Frontline PBS at the Tribeca Film Festival.
Luke Osborne is a colour grader whose work spans from fashion films to music videos. Living in cloudy countries like England and Holland all his life is what has driven him to draw exciting palettes out of all the films he touches. Osborne has an artistic background, parlaying his knack for photography and photoshop into moving images. He began his career at Glassworks Amsterdam and now resides as the in-house colorist at Splash Studios where he has worked on award winning projects with clients such as Nike, Adidas, and Adobe. WORK
Joshua Bolin is an experienced compositor with a demonstrated history of working in the motion picture and commercial industry. He is skilled in comp, tracking, animation, beauty and paint. He is a strong arts and design professional with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) focused in Digital Arts from Academy of Art University. He is known for his work on Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens, Act of Valor and Terminator: Dark Fate. There is nobody better at what Joshua does than Joshua, a perfectionist to the bone and an absolute beast in the industry.
Christiaan van der Knoop is a Digital Imaging Technician who offers data management, on-set CDL grade and transcodes for editorial and dailies. He ensures full safety of the footage from set to post and makes sure that the workflow functions seamlessly saving the production time and money.
Louana Tummers is the sweetest project manager in the game. A graduate of the Amsterdam Fashion Institute she shines as our key Project Manager and doubles as a bad ass Art Director on the side working on exciting projects around Amsterdam. We’re lucky to have her on our team! WORK
Niels Den Otter abuses music instead of drugs, from the greatest film soundtracks to the dirtiest trap. As the founder of Audentity, he offers a combination of music & sound and creates tailor made audio identities for the creative industry. WORK
Classically trained in fine art and VFX at New Yorks' School of Visual Arts, Ricky Weissman has been making award winning VFX for both advertising and film over the past 20 years. Having led global campaigns as creative director and VFX supervisor, there is never a project too big or too small to take seriously. Ricky takes pleasure in exploring the creative process, and helping to transform the visions of brands, creatives, and directors into wonderful realities. WORK
Olivier Bink is a self-taught Amsterdam based filmmaker and creative. Bink has both a technical and artistic vision when it comes to making art. His work has led him to travel to the globe with clients including A$AP ROCKY, 21 Savage, Lil Wayne, and Don Toliver. Bink's focus at the moment is directing and making visual effects for music videos that influence their intended audiences. Bink is also passionate about fashion and making music of his own.
